Itinerary

Day 1  Arrive Tokyo

Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Tokyo.


Day 2  Tokyo

Embark on a delightful day exploring Tokyo's cultural treasures. Begin in Asakusa, where you can marvel at the historic Sensoji Temple and wander through Nakamise Street for traditional snacks and souvenirs. Next, visit Nezu Shrine to admire its stunning azalea gardens in bloom, followed by Kameido Tenjin Shrine to experience the beauty of wisteria cascading over arched bridges and tranquil ponds.


Day 3  Fuji

Today you will visit Fuji Shibazakura Festival, a vibrant celebration of nature and beauty nestled near Lake Motosu at the base of Mount Fuji. Marvel at the stunning carpets of shibazakura flowers ((pink moss or phlox moss) in shades of pink, white, and purple, set against the iconic backdrop of Japan's highest peak. Capture breathtaking photos, indulge in local delicacies from food stalls, and immerse yourself in cultural performances amidst this enchanting floral paradise.


Day 4  Tokyo

Day at leisure to explore Tokyo on your own.


Day 5  Tokyo to Kyoto

After breakfast, take a bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Begin your tour at Jonangu Shrine, a hidden gem in Kyoto known for its captivating blend of traditional architecture and seasonal beauty. As you stroll through the shrine's peaceful grounds, you will encounter its beautifully landscaped gardens, ancient trees, and picturesque ponds.
Next, explore Tofukuji Temple, a masterpiece of Zen Buddhism famed for its exquisite Zen gardens and the iconic Tsutenkyo Bridge offering panoramic views of the meticulously landscaped grounds. Continue to Sanjusangendo Temple, a historic temple renowned for its impressive hall housing 1,001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy.


Day 6  Kyoto

Visit Saihoji Temple, also known as the "Kokedera" or Moss Temple. Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of its lush moss-covered gardens and serene atmosphere, where every step reveals a new facet of nature’s artistry. Then, marvel at the golden splendor of Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavilion, with its dazzling golden facade reflecting brilliantly in the surrounding pond. This iconic temple is a masterpiece of Japanese aesthetics and an unforgettable sight. Explore the picturesque Arashiyama area, where you can wander through the enchanting Bamboo Grove and visit the scenic Togetsukyo Bridge. Also, discover the serene Jojyakkoji Temple, nestled in the hills, offering a peaceful retreat with its elegant gardens and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.


Day 7  Osaka

Start your day at Nagai Botanical Garden, a serene oasis in Osaka known for its diverse plant life and tranquil atmosphere. As you wander through meticulously curated landscapes and themed gardens, you will  encounter a variety of exotic and native flora. After exploring Nagai Botanical Garden, continue your day at Osaka Maishima Seaside Park, a coastal haven boasting expansive fields adorned with delicate nemophila flowers. These charming blossoms, known for their dreamy blue hues, create a stunning carpet that stretches towards the horizon, contrasting beautifully against the azure sea backdrop. Take leisurely walks along the park's trails, capturing picturesque views and enjoying the refreshing sea breeze.


Day 8  Nara

Today you will visit Nara, a city steeped in history and cultural treasures. First stop is Todaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha and one of Japan's largest wooden structures, located within the picturesque Nara Park. After exploring the park's serene landscapes and friendly deer, you will return to Kyoto.


Day 9  Kyoto to Kinosaki Onsen

Morning at leisure to explore Kyoto on your own, perhaps discovering its charming streets, sampling local cuisine, or visiting other landmarks on your own. In the afternoon, take a train to Kinosaki Onsen. Kinosaki Onsen is a quintessential Japanese onsen town. What sets Kinosaki apart is its charm derived from seven public bathhouses, each offering a unique hot spring experience. Wear traditional yukata and wooden geta sandals, strolling along scenic canals lined with willow trees and historic buildings. You will stay at ryokan where you can enjoy a taste of Japanese hospitality with indulgent kaiseki meals and serene tatami rooms.


Day 10  Kinosaki Onsen to Yonago

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Kinosaki Onsen. Then take trains to Yonago.


Day 11  Tottori and Shimane

Tottori Hanakairo Flower Park is one of the largest flower parks in Japan. Bursts into vibrant hues with a variety of seasonal flowers. The park's expansive grounds showcase a colorful tapestry of blooms, including tulips, daffodils, and early spring varieties like narcissus and camellias. As you stroll along the well-curated pathways, you are treated to the sight and fragrance of these blossoms in full glory. After the flower park, you can visit either Adachi Museum of Art or Yushien garden. The Adachi Museum’s gardens have been ranked as number one in the “Japanese Garden Ranking,” for more than 20 consecutive year in the number one spot. Yushien garden is This garden is renowned for its collection of peonies, including rare and prized varieties. It features meticulously designed landscapes with ponds, streams, and traditional Japanese architecture, offering visitors a serene retreat in nature.


Day 12  Depart Yonago

You will be transferred to Yonago Airport for your onward flight.
