Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Tokyo.

Experience the vibrant energy and rich history of Tokyo. Begin your journey in Asakusa, where you will visit the iconic Sensoji Temple and stroll down Nakamise-dori, a bustling shopping street filled with traditional stalls. Next, head to the dynamic Shibuya district to witness the famous Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian intersections in the world, and explore the surrounding trendy shops and cafes. Then you will visit Shinjuku where you will marvel at the skyscrapers, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building with its panoramic views, and explore the lively Kabukicho area. Throughout the tour, you will travel through Tokyo's impressive urban landscape, gaining a deeper appreciation of its unique charm.

Morning is at leisure for your own activities. This afternoon you will witness the sumo wrestler's demonstration and learn about sumo's history and training. Rest of the day is free to explore Tokyo.

Feb 27 Tokyo to Izu (B, L, D)
This morning you will travel to Kawazu. Kawazu is a charming town on the Izu Peninsula, renowned for its early-blooming cherry blossoms, known as Kawazu-zakura. The vibrant pink blossoms that line the Kawazu River, creating a stunning and picturesque landscape are absolutely beautiful. Tonight you will stay at a traditional ryokan where you will have Japanese experiences such as onsen and kaiseki meal.

Feb 28 Izu to Kyoto (B, L)
Today You will visit Izu Panorama Park, where you can take a ropeway ride to the summit for breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay. After enjoying the panoramic scenery, the tour continues to Miho no Matsubara, a scenic coastal pine grove that offers stunning vistas of Mount Fuji framed by over 30,000 pine trees along the pristine shoreline. This picturesque location is not only renowned for its natural beauty but also holds cultural significance as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the late afternoon you will take a bullet train to Kyoto.

Mar 4 Kyoto to Hiroshima via Himeji (B)
Begin your day with a traditional tea ceremony, where you can experience the meticulous preparation and savor the delicate taste of freshly brewed matcha. In the afternon, you will take a bullet train to Himeji, where you will explore one of Japan's most iconic and best-preserved feudal castles, Himeji Castle. Known as the White Heron Castle due to its brilliant white exterior, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Following your tour of the castle, you will continue your journey by bullet train to Hiroshima.
